GET TO KNOW ME

Growing up my parents had a closet filled with old pictures detailing the special moments of their lives. From when they first became friends to when they started dating, got married, had children and so on. My grandmother also loved to sit and show us old photographs of her life in Cuba. Looking at these always made me feel an instant connection to the story behind the images. I could almost hear the laughs behind their smiles and feel the love behind their expressions.

If there is one thing I’ve learned from this is that photography helps people remember. It reminds them of special emotions that once made them feel a certain way!

Because of this I have always considered storytelling my passion. My time in journalism and marketing has led me to where I am today because I truly love to build connections and capture sweet memories.
